Rutilated Quartz is naturally occuring clear or smoky quartz crystal embedded with fine needle-like inclusions of the titanium dioxide mineral Rutile. Rutile Quartz is an earthy, high vibration crystal that amplifies thought and is an excellent manifestation stone. It is known to be beneficial for spiritual growth and an overall efficient vibrational restorative stone.

You will receive one Quartz Rutilated Tumbled Stone Grade AP (A+) from the lot pictured size approximately:

LARGE: 26-35mm, 15-20g
MEDIUM: 27-35mm, 10.5-14g
SMALL: 24-31mm, 6.5-9.4g

This high grade Brazilian Rutilated Quartz features a mix of mostly gold or red rutile with varying thickness and density in semi-translucent-milky quartz. The organically shaped tumbled stones are smoothly polished with little to no surface disruption (only an occasional smooth micro pit from the polishing process or rutile inclusions which is common with this type of mineral). The protective, needle-like strands of titanium dioxide or Rutile embedded in either clear or smoky quartz harmonize the soul star, stellar gateway, and all chakras with the aura. It is said these gold, silver, copper or bronzed strands resemble angel hair and that Rutilated Quartz radiates with cosmic light and creative power.

Gold Rutile: Contains less iron oxide, resulting in vibrant, metallic-yellow to brilliant gold needle-like inclusions.

Red Rutile: Contains higher amounts of iron oxide which gives the needles a deep red, reddish-brown, or copper appearance.

Silver Rutile: Contains lower amounts of iron oxide resulting in cool, silvery-white or gray metallic needles.

Typically the black rod-like needles found in quartz are Black Tourmaline and green needles are Epidote.
