Mineralogically, the dots of pink Thulite (Clinozoisite) inclusions are in a white crystal matrix consisting of Meionite (Scapolite group) and Wairakite (a Zeolite mineral of hydrothermal origin indicating formation at above 220°C). Meionite Wairakite Thulite is often called Cinnabrite or Cinabrite although it contains no Cinnabar. Sometimes it’s called Peruvian Cherry Blossom as it resembles a Namibian stone containing Thulite.
