Pāua Shells are native to New Zealand and the word “Pāua” is Māori name given to three New Zealand species of large edible sea snails, marine gastropod molluscs. Pāua Shells are ethically and sustainably harvested by hand.

These rare shells feature vibrant, colourful combinations of iridescent silver, gold, purple, blue, pink and green. Each shell is a unique and a precious bio-crystal and sacred vessel for cleansing rituals or holding beloved treasures.

When using your Pāua shell for smoke cleansing, be safe and do so with an open window to release stagnant air and to aid air circulation. Never leave a burning stick unattended in a shell or other dish. Do not wave a lit smoke cleansing tool close to long-hanging fabrics or near combustible materials.
